We have been back home for 10 days, but are still tired. But how do we describe a trip that is not a vacation, but more of a pilgrimage? The Holy Land is holy to Jews, Christians, and Moslems, and all have been fighting over it for thousands of years.
Every day, as our tour guide told us to get up earlier and earlier he reminded us, “this is not a vacation.”
